A summer of fun, adventure and challenge!

Aiglon’s Summer School is now in full swing, as we welcome over 250 students from around the world to come to the Swiss Alps and experience Aiglon life. This summer we welcome over 30 nationalities to join us, so we are a truly international mix of students.

Summer School is an excellent way for students to make new friends and learn to be more independent. With a large staff team, we can encourage students to participate in new activities and learn to be more independent in their daily lives. For students staying residentially, many families choose the Summer School as a way to experience boarding school life before entering an academic year programme at Aiglon. We have experienced houseparents ready to help guide students through their routine. The houses are good fun and quickly become like a large family, with students learning about each other and making friends.

The morning courses range from leadership to languages and multi-sports to science. We can extend older students and also cater for developing language skills. Particular highlights for the students include golf coaching on the beautiful mountain golf course and creating volcanoes in science and engineering!

Our activity programme varies between the age groups. For our older students, the ‘Eagles’ (aged 13-16) the most popular activities have included surfing, canyoning, and the 2-day hiking expedition into the mountains. For the younger students, the ‘Classics’ (aged 8-12) highlights have included climbing and team games with plenty of water balloons.

We have enjoyed plenty of sunshine and hope that all students will have stories to share with their families and friends when they return home!
