Ela foi uma dos 50 estudantes de 31 escolas Nord Anglia Education em todo o mundo a ganhar um lugar nesta viagem atrav\u00e9s de uma competi\u00e7\u00e3o STEAM de inova\u00e7\u00e3o e design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Vida acad\u00eamica em uma institui\u00e7\u00e3o de pesquisa de ponta<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>A viagem proporcionou a estes estudantes com mentalidade STEAM uma vis\u00e3o aut\u00eantica da investiga\u00e7\u00e3o cient\u00edfica de alto n\u00edvel em a\u00e7\u00e3o. Durante cinco dias, eles participaram de palestras, workshops e masterclasses ministradas por estudantes de doutorado, pesquisadores e professores do MIT. Ao longo do caminho, eles encontraram t\u00f3picos interessantes, como se os exoplanetas poderiam sustentar vida. Outros destaques inclu\u00edram a utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de uma c\u00e2mara de imagem de alta velocidade para captar movimentos demasiado r\u00e1pidos para o olho humano ver, a visita ao reactor nuclear do MIT e a participa\u00e7\u00e3o numa simula\u00e7\u00e3o de Cimeira das Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas sobre Altera\u00e7\u00f5es Clim\u00e1ticas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A semana exp\u00f4s esses alunos a muitas ideias novas, mas tamb\u00e9m os desafiou a colocar essas teorias em pr\u00e1tica. Trabalhando juntos em equipes,&nbsp;<strong>os nossos participantes aplicaram as suas compet\u00eancias STEAM num desafio interessante: criar um brinquedo sustent\u00e1vel e inovador para produ\u00e7\u00e3o industrial!<\/strong>&nbsp;Os alunos tiveram que considerar v\u00e1rios aspectos de design e fabrica\u00e7\u00e3o enquanto integravam conceitos cient\u00edficos e tecnol\u00f3gicos rec\u00e9m-aprendidos para desenvolver seu prot\u00f3tipo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>E embora o foco da viagem fosse acad\u00eamico, o aprendizado n\u00e3o foi a \u00fanica atividade do itiner\u00e1rio \u2013 os alunos tamb\u00e9m desfrutaram de um passeio de barco por Boston e de visitas aos campi do MIT e de Harvard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No geral, a viagem de uma semana proporcionou uma oportunidade fant\u00e1stica para os alunos trocarem conhecimentos em \u00e1reas como codifica\u00e7\u00e3o, design, matem\u00e1tica e arte, e aprimorarem suas habilidades de resolu\u00e7\u00e3o de problemas.
